What does a typical day look like?
There’s no such thing. From food shows to sales calls, you’ll work across clients, categories, and channels. Every day is different. You’ll always be learning, networking, and solving new challenges that will sharpen your instincts. You’ll be expected to grow, but fully supported. It’s why people come to CORE — and why they stay.
Does CORE provide training?
Definitely. We don’t believe in sink or swim. We believe in mentorship, skill-building, and giving you the tools to succeed. What do growth opportunities look like at CORE?
Growth is earned in the field, but you don’t have to wait years to access it. Many careers start in Operator Sales, where you learn the business at street level: working with operators, distributors, and brands to understand how products move. From there, team members commonly grow into Field Sales or Distribution Sales, taking on larger territories, deeper relationships, and more complex execution responsibilities.
As you build experience, you have multiple paths forward.
- Coaching roles like Sales Lead, Distribution Lead, or Market Director
- Complex selling roles on one of CORE’s channel teams for restaurant chains, non-commercial, K-12 schools.
